HALP MEH FAM ~I give medals~ So like im in high school and i have to write a research paper on a book and im not 100% sure how i go about doing this. So like a list of things (in order) of what i should write about. For example introduction, body, and conclusion. But more complex like where I should put my name, introduction sentence, where to give the author credit, etc. Any information will help, but metals are for the best help, THANK YOU IF YOURE HELPING ME
U should start by puttin ur name at the top of the page with the title of the page u are writtin about. At the top line u put the name of the author. Just wright out a good starting paragraph and work off that.
So you're asking how to format a research paper? Like where to put your name and the title and everything? If so, did your school, teacher, or lesson give you some sort of template? If not, then try asking your teacher for one.
high school is easy
Okay, here's a format that I've been using. Intro; In _______ by (author's name), thesis statement. Idea 1 ______. Idea 2_______. Idea 3_______. Body 1; TS (introducing the idea) CD (Concrete Detail/quote) | Commentary about why the quote is important |- If it's a research paper, use 2 CD/1 CM Commentary again | CS (Concluding sentence) Body 2; TS (introducing the idea) CD (Concrete Detail/quote) Commentary about why the quote is important Commentary again CS (Concluding sentence) Body 3; TS (introducing the idea) CD (Concrete Detail/quote) Commentary about why the quote is important Commentary again CS (Concluding sentence) Conclusion; Tie in all of the ideas Restate the thesis
