OCW Scholar - Single Variable Calculus 9 Online
OpenStudy (amr.mustafa):

What is the best book that i can use along this course ?

OpenStudy (goldpill):

Tom Apostol's Calculus Vol. I and Vol. II

OpenStudy (haider):

Apostol's Calculus is a wonderful book but I'm not sure it is the right choice for someone new to the subject. You should use any other introductory calculus book and if you want to delve deeper only then should you read this book . If you are using this course as an companion to something like engineering or physics then honestly the additional rigour of Apostol's book is essentially useless. It just comes down to what you want to get out of this course if you are taking an applied approach to the subject then this book is unnecessary but If you want to explore the theoretical side of Calculus then this book is perfect. If you want a more applied approach then I would recommend Introduction to Calculus and Analysis by Richard Courant. I hope this helps
