My \(personal\) use of the terms are as follows, but the limits are arbitrary and could vary a lot from one person to another. term probability certain 1.0 impossible 0.0 likely 2/3 to 0.975 very likely 0.975 to 0.99999 unlikely 0.025 to 1/3 very unlikely 0.000001 to 0.025

Unlikely is correct because 1/8 = 0.125, which is way below 0.5 (fifty-fifty).
