NvidiaIntely (nvidiaintely):

Which model(s) is (are) used to help scientists visualize the atom today?

NvidiaIntely (nvidiaintely):

@hartnn @mathstudent55 @TheSmartOne @Jadeishere @Donblue22 @.Sam.

NvidiaIntely (nvidiaintely):

I think its Model 1 and Model 3?

TheSmartOne (thesmartone):

Model 3 is Dalton's model. It's the first model of the atom and has been changed with further scientific discoveries. Back then, they hadn't even learned about electrons or the nucleus. :P

NvidiaIntely (nvidiaintely):

Thanks! So its model 1 only.

TheSmartOne (thesmartone):

Yep! And Model 4 looks like the electron density diagram. It's not even one of the models for an atom xD Model 2 was Thompson's model, mhm. Great job :)

NvidiaIntely (nvidiaintely):
