OpenStudy (siria_93):

Which of the following is not a factor that affects your ability to read and understand any material? visual skill page size purpose for reading length of written work familiarity with the material

OpenStudy (misssmartiez):

When you read something, you take it in with your eyes, or simply put, visually. Bad vision can affect how you read and understand material. Here it asks WHAT DOESN’T affect the understandment of the material. Therefore, A is wrong. Page size does too. Pretend we have a small page. How can you read something so small; let alone understand it? Exactly. B is wrong. Simply not having purpose in a reading will be hard to cope with and the reader will/can strain to understand the main purpose. So. C is out. Length of material doesn't necessarily matter as long as the reader can read it fine, has purpose, and such. So, ‘length of written work’ is the answer. Being familiar to something CAN boost the understanding level. So, that stays. - @MissSmartiez
