OpenStudy (sergioboy):

how do I go about solving this equation to have a negative and positive answer (u-3)/(U-2) =4/(u+4) I have memory issues and now I am so confused I cannot even remember which type of equation it is as I have done so many just recently thank you. Just a point in in the right direction I want to go about solving not just the answer please.

OpenStudy (evoker):

multiply both sides by the lcd would be the first step I believe
