What are the steps to developing a “working thesis statement”?
A thesis statement is so much fun. In your introductory paragraph you should include the thesis. The thesis is great because it tells you what your paper will be about, it also gives you a foundation on what you are going to be writing about. In your introductory paragraph the first sentence is a catch phrase, something that will grab the attention of your reader. After that depending on what you are writing about you can introduce your paper and then go into a thesis. When you introduce your paper i recommend a minimum of 2 sentences. Then go into your *Thesis. Which is usually three points you will talk about in your page. Don't give details, just the run down. For example a Thesis of Eating healthy. "Eating healthy is beneficial for you in many ways, not only does it help your body, but it energizes you, it makes you more confident, and you are a better version of yourself." I gave three examples. And these three examples will each take a paragraph of my paper (when i explain each of them). So now i know exactly what i will write about and the reader knows what they are in for!! How great. A good working thesis is a thesis that flows. It makes sense, has strong points, and is grammatically correct.
