OpenStudy (cryleeb):

help! how do I solve n/4= 23/6, please walk me through it

OpenStudy (evoker):

easiest way would be to multiply both sides by 4/1

OpenStudy (cryleeb):

how did you get that? could you walk me through it please I need to show work haha

Mehek (mehek14):

You want to isolate n. To do that, you would move 4 to the other side. Since it's being divided, when you move it to the other side, you do the opposite, which is multiply. That's why @Evoker said to multiply by 4.
