OpenStudy (firejay5):

Alicia and Travis are selling tickets for a school talent show. Bleacher seats cost $3.00 and floor seats costs $4.00. Alicia sells 30 bleacher seat tickets and 25 floor seat tickets. Travis sells 65 bleacher seat tickets. *Explain the work progress for A, so I know how to better understand it. A. Write an expression to show how much money Alicia and Travis have collected for the tickets. B. How much money have they collected?

OpenStudy (helpppp):

Y=30(3) + 25(4) +65(3) A is just asking you to write a mathematical expression to determine the total amount of money (y) the two have collected together. Alicia sold 30 bleacher seats, each being worth $3. And she also sold 25 floor seats, each being $4. Travis sold 65 bleacher seats, each for $3. Just put it together to from the equation. :D

OpenStudy (helpppp):

Now B is just adding and multiplying everything together, which you can get on your own. I believe ya can do it! :P

OpenStudy (firejay5):

@helpppp Thanks so much for the detailed explanation it helped me better understand it thanks so much. I already figured out B, I just needed A lol

OpenStudy (helpppp):

@Firejay5 Youre very welcome. Glad I could help you out. :D
