How many solutions can be found for the equation 4x = 4x? Zero One Two Infinitely many

jhonyy9 (jhonyy9):

how you think it ?

OpenStudy (ksmd13):

Zero?

OpenStudy (ksmd13):

i'm just guessing

jhonyy9 (jhonyy9):

why zero ? than you check it the right side is equal left side so indifferent what value will give to x these sides will be equale - yes ?

OpenStudy (hayisforhorses):

To find a solution, both sides need to equal each other. Are 4x and 4x equal? If so, then there are infinite solutions.

OpenStudy (hayisforhorses):

No matter the input, both sides just multiply it by 4 making them always equal the same thing as the other.

OpenStudy (ksmd13):

well they're the exact same number so i assume so

OpenStudy (ksmd13):

Thank you guys! I got a 100%
