Please Help! High-School work!!! Bryan reads for x minutes. Kelly reads for one-fourth the amount of time Bryan reads. Which statement explains why 14x and 0.25x can each find the number of minutes Kelly reads? The expressions are not equivalent. The fraction 14 is equivalent to the decimal 0.75. Therefore, 14x can be rewritten as 0.75x. Multiplying by 4 is the same as multiplying by 25%. Dividing by four is the same as multiplying by 25%.
