I've been trying to figure this out for over and hour and all I've gotten so far is a headache. any help would be great!

I don't see how there would even be a mathematical equation to this? Just trial and error?

Here is a page that explains how to construct odd magic squares: http://www.1728.org/magicsq1.htm Each row, column and both diagonal adds to 4.5 There is no equation for filing in a magic square. There is a method for doing this (see the page I posted.)
