so how i wrote it above

AB = 8x-6 = 2(4x-3)

AB/2 = AM

2(4x-3)/2 = AM

4x-3 = AM

but we know that AM = 3x+3

in this case there are 3x+3 = 4x -3

solve it for x and will get x = 6 so in this case than we know that x=6 than AB = 8*6-6 so
AB = 48-6 so AB = 42
