Any suggestion before starting chemistry at college?

OpenStudy (liziekay):

Review high school notes before hand and always get a tutor when you need help. Don't slack off and procrastinate, highly impacts grade.

Great advice tnx u my friend 😆

OpenStudy (whynotstudyalone):

Be prepared and don't stress out too much! (not saying it's much of an option)

OpenStudy (photon336):

Review dimensional analysis and conversions scales those are a huge part of chem. Review your algebra I and II, that would definitely help. I find that if you know how to manipulate equations well you will do fine. for instance, i.e. like if i give you 100 grams how many kilograms would that be? Logarithms are also important when acids and bases are brought up.

OpenStudy (kainui):

Get a planner, you're going to be doing a lot of labs and the difference between spending 1 hour or 3 hours in a lab usually comes down to how prepared you are going in. A little preparation can save you hours of stress, trust me lol.

OpenStudy (revircs):

Study the material EVERYDAY. Falling behind in one unit can screw you over for the rest of the semester if you don't know the material. I had to take my first semester of chem over again because I didn't take it seriously.
