OpenStudy (gavin39):

is y= -7/6x + 1 linear or no

OpenStudy (vheah):

the formula for a linear equation is y=mx+b you (-7/6) which substitutes for m, thus (-7/6x) and 1 which substitutes for b, thus (-7/6)x+b. SO yep. It is linear.
