Determine algebraically whether the function is even, odd, or neither even nor odd. f(x) = -3x4 - 2x - 5 A. neither B. even C. odd

OpenStudy (holsteremission):

If \(f(-x)=f(x)\), then \(f\) is even. If \(f(-x)=-f(x)\), then \(f\) is odd. The function is neither even nor odd if none of these are true. What happens when you replace \(x\) with \(-x\) in the definition of \(f\)?

OpenStudy (kellyspeakslouder):

I don't know, I am horrible with math and im starting to feel overwhelmed. im so sorry..

OpenStudy (kellyspeakslouder):

would the answer be odd?
