OpenStudy (hybrik):

(y2-y1)/(x2-x1)

OpenStudy (mathmale):

Please "google" "slope of a straight line." If you do that, you will find the slope formula that is needed here to find the slope of the line connecting the 2 given points. hybrik's formula is OK, except that it should have the label "m = " Please show your work.

OpenStudy (some.random.cool.kid):

tried that...

OpenStudy (hybrik):

(ex: ur question (-2,0),(0,4), also as (x1,y1),(x2,y2))

OpenStudy (hybrik):

plug in into the slope formula

OpenStudy (some.random.cool.kid):

thanks hy

OpenStudy (mathmale):

Please be sure to label your result: m = 4/2 = 2
