or you can use this formula

\[\Large {\color{red}{x \text{ degrees}}}, \ {\color{blue}{y \text{ minutes}}}, \ {\color{green}{z \text{ seconds}}} = {\color{red}{x}}+\frac{{\color{blue}{y}}}{60}+\frac{{\color{green}{z}}}{3600}\]

to convert from DMS format to decimal degrees format (or vice versa)
