OpenStudy (mcba1234):

I need help finding the range of this equation

OpenStudy (mcba1234):

OpenStudy (mcba1234):

I think the Domain is all real numbers but I can't figure out what the range is

OpenStudy (phi):

range are the "y" values

OpenStudy (phi):

it looks like it "zooms" up to infinity, so that would be the upper value it looks like it approaches (asymptotes) to the x-axis (that is a reasonable guess, but we should be allowed to see the equation to know for sure) can you take a stab at listing the range ?

OpenStudy (loser66):

y goes from ??? to???

OpenStudy (mcba1234):

Is the range: y is less than or equal to 6

OpenStudy (phi):

if we use only the values we see in the graph, it looks like 5 is the biggest y value but we could not say \(y \le 5\) because y never goes negative. y (in the picture) is always bigger than 0 so you could say \[ 0 < y \le 5\]
