Does anyone in here have a great understanding of the Founding Fathers of Sociology theories?
I do.
Okay so I'm studying a chapter on social theory and its a lot to soak in. Which the father theory do you agree and disagree with most and why? I think Durkheim theory is best
Emile Durkheim developed theories of social structures that included functionalism, division of labor, and anomie. These theories were founded on the concept of social facts, or societal norms, values, and structures. Functionalism is a concept with three integral elements.
His theory is the best in my opinion.
But why? I'm mainly drawn because of collective consciousness
Because all of his ideas can make a well functioning society.
Can you help me put this in a presentable answer format
That's your job man.
I'm trying but I want to make sure it make sense. Plus I lost everything I typed
