OpenStudy (shootingstar28):

What would the phrase "twice the sum of a number and three" look like as a variable expression? 2+(2n+3) 2(2n−3) 2(n+3) 2n + 3

OpenStudy (shootingstar28):

c?

OpenStudy (rayep12):

yes it would be c

OpenStudy (jadeishere):

The sum is what two numbers add up to. So the sum of a number and 3 would look like (any letter will work) x + 3 The 'twice' will just make it multiplied by two :) So 2(x + 3)
