We must recognize and understand cell biology and chemistry basics in order to learn about anatomy and physiology. These topics are very important, because they break down the forms, structures and functions of the body systems. If a cell’s function, structure or the body’s chemistry changes, it would cause severe differences or issues with the way the body works. The cells work together to form tissues. The body tissues then form organs. These organs all together form organ systems. The body’s organ systems hold each other together and perform necessary functions. If one system acts up, it affects them all negatively. The body’s cell biology is setup to sustain our life with specific processes and it works well keeping us alive the way it is.
An important aspect of the human body is homeostasis. All the body systems work together for the complex process of homeostasis. Homeostasis is a vital function for every-day life. It is the necessary process the body requires in order to maintain a stable internal environment. If the process of homeostasis fails, many issues can occur such as disease or death.
