OpenStudy (shckiwiz):

(-4)(-y)

OpenStudy (shckiwiz):

(-4)(-y)

OpenStudy (vlklngs):

do you know what product means?

OpenStudy (shckiwiz):

it means to multiply

OpenStudy (karamarie02):

yeah its the answer a multiplication problem

OpenStudy (vlklngs):

a number and a variable means multiply, for example, 3z would mean mulitply.

OpenStudy (vlklngs):

*multiply

OpenStudy (karamarie02):

yes i know that. so would the answer be -4y?

Arcadiouse (arcadiouse):

yes

OpenStudy (vlklngs):

right, (-4)(y) wouldn't make sense, because you need parentheses to block out other equations if you don't do it first.

OpenStudy (shckiwiz):

LOLLLLLLLLL

OpenStudy (vlklngs):

so, if you see a math equation in parentheses, you do those first.

OpenStudy (karamarie02):

its not funny @SHCKiwiz

OpenStudy (shckiwiz):

yea its not funny its halarious

OpenStudy (karamarie02):

@SHCKiwiz i could have failed my test just because u wanted a medal but u were wrong now u are laughing but if i would have failed it would have been the reason why i did because u dont know math obviously.

OpenStudy (shckiwiz):

you should know this stuff

OpenStudy (karamarie02):

@SHCKiwiz i knew the answer i just wanted to know that it was right, I neded other peopes opinion on the answer.

OpenStudy (shckiwiz):

what grade are you in? and if you knew the answer then you wouldnt need other opinions

OpenStudy (vlklngs):
