You are correct. Since the trig functions are also ratios of the lengths of the sides of right triangles, I would not change any improper fraction into a mixed numeral. I'd leave the fractions as improper fractions because they show more clearly they are ratios. Of course, if your teacher wants mixed numerals, then do it.
