I have to write an essay on how characters in The Alchemist relate to characteristics of my school. The characteristics are; adaptability, collaboration,courage, empathy, ethicality, resilience, resourcefulness, and responsibility. I'm extremely stressed about this essay to the point of being sick. Any little bit of help would be greatly appreciated.

I recommend that you list all of the characters first then describe what the important things they did in the story. Then, look again if it best describes one of your school's characteristics.
