OpenStudy (canada907cat):

Identify and remove removable the discontinuities of f(x)=sin(x^2-2x-3)/tan(x^2-2x-3)

OpenStudy (canada907cat):

I know the factor version is sin(x-3)(x+1)/tan(x-3)(x+1)

OpenStudy (amirrezas):

here are the discontinuous points \[x=3+k \pi , x=-1+k \pi\] where \[k \in \mathbb{Z}\] All of them removable with putting the value of cos(x-3)(x+1) in that points which is 1.

OpenStudy (canada907cat):

Oh okay thank you that makes a lot more sense thank you!
