Basically, just being active on OS will earn you smartscore:)

If you noticed, the smartscore is divided into three subscores: engagement, problem solving, and teamwork.

By asking questions, you're increasing your engagement, and in turn, your score for engagement goes up.
By helping others by answering their questions, you are helping solve problems, so your problem solving score goes up.
By working with others to help them understand your answer, and by working with others so you can understand their answer, by discussing, replying, responding, and interacting with other users, your teamwork goes up, and so does your teamwork smartscore.

So when these go up, your overall smartscore will go up, and you will get a higher and higher smartscore as you keep learning, helping, and enjoying:)

Besides don't give wrong or solve the asked question completely , u need to help the student.

This will surely help u increasing ur smartscore. 

Giving direct answer is against OS code of conduct.

To raise your Engagement: 
1 ) Ask questions and get medals on the questions you asked. 
BUT! That does not mean to medal spam.

To raise your Problem Solving: 
1 ) Help people.
2 ) Explain the answers a lot and don't give direct answers. 
3 ) It also goes up when you get a medal from the person you have helped which can be given by clicking on, "Best Response."
Still, that means DO NOT medal spam. :) 

To raise your Teamwork: 
1 ) Earn fans.
2 ) Earn fan testimonials. 
3 ) Chat in the chat boxes below. 
4 ) It also goes up when you help people. :D
5 ) Also goes up when you invite your friends to OpenStudy! :D
Again, do not spam yourself with fans and testimonials. :)
