For part A i don't think it represents a function
@quickstudent
Sorry, I don't remember exactly how this works. @FaiqRaees @welshfella
For the graph to be a function, there should be 1-1 relationship of input with outputs. This is to say that there should be a unique output for every input. Is such the case?
hi prince. can you help?
@princeharryyy
hold on. plot on x-y graph first. talking to friend on whatsapp.
yes.
a) yes it's a function as different values of y for different x's.
b) f(x=7) = 2*(7) +13 =14+13 = 27 for relation b for relation a x for x =7 y =8, so the given relation y =2x+13 has greater value.
c) f(x) = 2x +13 = 75 2x = 75-13 2x =62 x=31
for part A)) the function ix f(x) = 2*(x-1) -3
it's over @ImpracticalJoker there's nothing more to it.
Moreover the function given in table is nothing but an Arithmetic Progression.
thanks <3
:)
hold on. @ImpracticalJoker
hm?
A))) tHE FUNCTION IS NOT A.P. IT'S f(x)=3x-13, yes it's a function. using lines. B))) f(x=7) = 2*(7) +13 =14+13 = 27 for relation b for relation a x for x =7 y =8, so the given relation y =2x+13 has greater value. C))c) f(x) = 2x +13 = 75 2x = 75-13 2x =62 x=31 Sorry! Do the corrections.
