OpenStudy (canada907cat):

What is the limx->1+ f(x) were f(x)= ( 3 -5<_x<1 ) (2 1<_x<_5)

OpenStudy (kg1975):

(f(1) - 8)/(1 - 1) must be indeterminate for the expression to be applied with L'Hôpital Rule, so? f(1) = 8 If you don't get 0/0 or ±∞/∞ for the expression, then you don't have the real value. Without effort, it's possible to determine the value of f(x) where x = 1. I hope this helps

OpenStudy (sshayer):

\[\lim_{x \rightarrow 1+}f(x)=\lim_{x \rightarrow 1+}2=2\]

OpenStudy (canada907cat):

Hold on there not supposed to be divided I don't think|dw:1473114589863:dw|
