i need help graphing a linear graph with an x intercept of -2. the graph is positive for x < -2. the graph is negative for x > -2. someone help and explain please?

OpenStudy (mathmale):

Set up a pair of coordinate axes. Plot the x-intercept, which is (-2,0). The graph (line) crosses the x-axis here. Think: the graph (which is a line) is located BELOW the x-axis when x<-2, and ABOVE the x-axis when x>-2 Please use the Draw utility (below). Sketch this graph and share your work.
