Just a few conversion questions, will fan and medal. The area of 48 contiguous states is 3.02 x 0^6. Assume that these states are completely flat, what volume in liters would cover the area with two inches of rain fall. I know I have to go from mi^2, km^2, cm^2, cm^3, then to liters, but I'm still confused on the process. Thank you!

OpenStudy (sweetburger):

Ok so you can let L*W = 3.02 x 10^6. (Are the units here inches^2, feet^2, miles^2...?) The L*W*H= 3.02 x 10^6(units) * 2(units). This calculation will give you the volume.

OpenStudy (sweetburger):

Idk what the units of the original number is so i cant help you there unless you update the question.

OpenStudy (tumblewolf):

Sorry the original number is in miles
