Very Interesting Question.... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shia_view_of_the_Quran
@wwhitlock Help ;-;
I looked, and being a muslim, I honestly should know, but I don't
@Awolflover1
Shia's and Sunni's use the whole quran. There is a difference in the interpretation of a few verses. But is nothing like the multiple views of the Bible among Christians.
anything else

Belief of Shi'a in the Completeness of Qur'an
right maybe?
yes no maybe?
I honestly think that shia' believe that they should go step by step by Qur'an and the Sunni's believe they should go moderately?
actually yup that sounds so much better good job:}
Thanks bud!
@Awolflover1 @tshimp0629 Need more details!
Out of the three types of Muslims there are the shīʻatu ʻAlī who believe in different prophets. The shīʻatu ʻAlī believe that since a prophet is appointed by God alone, only God has the prerogative to appoint the successor to his prophet. The Shia’s belief starts with They believe God chose Ali to be Muhammad's successor or the first caliph (khalifa, head of state) of Islam. Shia Islam is based on the Quran and the message of the Islamic prophet Muhammad attested in hadith, and on hadith taught by their Imam’s. Since they believe in different prophets, it makes them different than the other two types of Muslims . THis is my paragraph, but she says more details needed........ HELP!!!!!!!!!!1
@TheSmartOne
give more info like whats different and where are the groups all that good stuff
I don't think any part of the Quran tells them what to believe. I really don't know. It's just that Shia's believe that Ali should have been the next Caliph after the Prophet Muhammad died but the Sunni's believe that Abu Bakr was supposed to be the next Caliph and he was :p
can you help me get more facts in that paragraph? @tshimp0629 @jmccollough
ya i can
Just work it in the paragraph please

Hana Malik Rathe C&P-2 08-Sept-16 You may wonder, are there really more than one kind of muslims in the world? Or how many types of muslims are there worldwide? The answer to your question is, there are 3 major types of Muslims. They are; Shia,Sunni, and the Moderates. You may wonder what is a Shia? Shia is arabic for “followers of Ali”. What is a Sunni? Sunnis follow Abu Bakr. What is a Moderate Muslim? Moderates know the Quran but seek to make their faith relevant to modern life. Out of the three types of Muslims there are the shīʻatu ʻAlī(shia) who believe in different prophets. The shīʻatu ʻAlī(shia) believe that since a prophet is appointed by God alone, only God has the prerogative to appoint the successor to his prophet. The Shia’s belief starts with They believe God chose Ali to be Muhammad's successor or the first caliph (khalifa, head of state) of Islam. This system is like the British ways use monarchy. Shia Islam is based on the Quran and the message of the Islamic prophet Muhammad attested in hadith, and on hadith taught by their Imam’s. The Qur’an is equivalent like the bible is to Christianity. Since they believe in different prophets, it makes them different than the other two types of Muslims . The Shias primarily believe that Muhammad did not appoint a successor therefore Abu Bakr is the real Khalif. At present, the word refers to the Muslims who believe that the leadership of the community after Muhammad belongs to Ali and his successors. Ali eventually became the fourth Sunni Khalif because he was the son in-law of Prophet Muhammad. After Ali was assassinated, his eldest son claimed peace if these five rules were followed on a daily basis. The enforced public cursing of Ali, e.g. during prayers, should be abandoned. Muawiyah should not use tax money for his own private needs.There should be peace, and followers of Hasan should be given security and their rights.Muawiyah will never adopt the title of Amir ul momineen.Muawiyah will not nominate any successor. There are 3 types of muslims, that believe in one god. This was one of the three main types of Islam, now you know what Shia Muslims believe in. Still wondering what Shia is? It’s a branch of Islam which holds that the Islamic prophet Muhammad designated Ali ibn Abi Talib as his successor. Shia Islam primarily contrasts with Sunni Islam, whose adherents believe that Muhammad did not appoint a successor. Still questioning, what do they believe in? Shia Muslims believe in following Ali. Does this look right? @tshimp0629
@Will.H
looks amazing
i have studied those very well and i have a certified info about this. And your typing above looks great
and you could add that the Majority of muslims in Iran are Shia and in Saudia Arabia are Sunaa and in Sham Countries such as Syria,Iraq and Lebanon are mostly Suni but love and respect the Shia and In Turkey the Muslims there are Moderate
one thing she might ask thought because she sounds strict she might ask you are there more than three types that arnt major or not as big
There are plenty kinds and brances for Muslims in fact there are over 12
see what i mean though she sounds really strict you might wanna put that in the conclusion or add it to the begging bc she sound like shes strict
LEt me try to edit her writings in a better way
Thanks!
ya there we go haha dont worry Hana we're gonna get you a high grade ahaha
Thanks, It's our first essay, I need 2 more body paragraphs and a conclusion...
dang she sounds like she sucks XD
kinda
@Will.H Dude, we have to add figures of speech, and comparisons! Have fun!
Sunni don't follow Abu Bakar BTW Sunni Follow the Quran in every detail way and they believe in Muhammed and his fellow Abu Bakar and Ali and so on they don't pick some as the Successor or so on They Believe in Quran and they Believe in Mohammed as the last Prophet from the ultimate god. Shiaa Believe in Mohamed and they know and believe that he is the last prophet sent by the ultimate god But what they really aruge with the sunni about a very small derail which is that Ali ibn Abi Talib wasn't just a successors they beleved that he was able to preform supernatural phenomena and they believe in whatsoever Ali said And they appoint his and consider him as the 2nd best man after Mohamed (as for trust and learning his methodology) But suni says that No Ali was just a normal human just like Abu Bakar and the rest 4 companions (Ali Abu Bakar Omar And Othman) Moderate muslims Are those who believe in some of the Quran but don't really apply it regularly in their daily life Quran says that Alcohol is forbideen but Moderate Muslims drink it is as i said they believe in Mohamed and Allah but they just don't follow the strict rules in Quran.
Woah! That was good
