OpenStudy (quickstudent):

I'm sorry, I don't know that story. Is it long?

OpenStudy (gracygirl):

Is it long? The story? If it's short I can read it quick and help.

OpenStudy (aleah54):

ok hang on i'll find the story

OpenStudy (gracygirl):

What point of view do you think it is?

OpenStudy (aleah54):

I think it can be interpreted differently because some people think in different ways, and when something is written differently it can have a change in perception.

OpenStudy (gracygirl):

I see where you are coming from, I sort of see that it could be first or third. I would think it would be first person because of the "I's" if it was a narrator (3rd person) there wouldn't be those.

OpenStudy (gracygirl):

I could be wrong but I do not think I am on that, I would answer it is in 1st person.

OpenStudy (gracygirl):

As far as how changing the views would effect the story, what do you think would be different if it was switched from 1st to 3rd?

OpenStudy (aleah54):

it would ummm i don't know

OpenStudy (gracygirl):

(sorry doing homework myself) It would read differently, I'm not quite sure of the exact answer myself. Instead of "I" it would end up being "he" or "she"...

OpenStudy (aleah54):

i could also put something like If the story was from the third person point of view he might say somthing like i saw the man at the cemtary

OpenStudy (aleah54):

@GracyGirl

OpenStudy (aleah54):

somtime like that im not for sure

OpenStudy (gracygirl):

Well if it was third person the text wouldn't be from the person who is speaking's point of view. Third person is someone telling someone elses story.

OpenStudy (aleah54):

yeah

OpenStudy (gracygirl):

Have you tried typing out the paragraphs? Honestly I think you get the basic concept of it at least and could come up with an adequate response.

OpenStudy (aleah54):

i think i got it

OpenStudy (gracygirl):

Okay, so sorry I couldn't be of more help.

OpenStudy (aleah54):

thank you for helping me

OpenStudy (agent0smith):

@Aleah54 don't tag me in English again.

OpenStudy (aleah54):

ok im sorry
