OpenStudy (samirahdanyel):

If FG = 2 units, FI = 7 units, and HI = 1 unit, what is GH? 3 units 4 units 5 units 6 units

OpenStudy (samirahdanyel):

OpenStudy (something):

4 units

jhonyy9 (jhonyy9):

than you check this image you see that the line of FI is formed from FG + GH + HI yes ? and you know that the length of FI = 7 units the length of FG = 2 units and the length of HI = 1 unit so now you can rewriting the above wrote equation in this form 7 = 2 + GH + 1 so from this do you can calculi the value of GH ?

OpenStudy (samirahdanyel):

you do 2-1 then we you get that value subratct it from 7

jhonyy9 (jhonyy9):

you do 2+1 = 3 and yes than subtract it from 7 and will get the right answer sure easy

OpenStudy (something):

You subtract the known values to get the unknown one.

jhonyy9 (jhonyy9):

danyel do you understand it now ?

OpenStudy (samirahdanyel):

yeah i do

jhonyy9 (jhonyy9):

ok so than was my pleasure good luck bye bye

OpenStudy (samirahdanyel):

thank you guys

OpenStudy (something):
