I do believe that is correct :) Got conflicting answers when I researched it to double check my answer but it sounds correct, does it not? Indians hunted buffalo for their food and clothing (I'm sure they hunted other animals as well though so I'm not sure if the question is like saying they ONLY hunted buffalo) and us white people did grow crops and raise cattle.
