OpenStudy (gracygirl):

On Team C, 82.5% of the football players weigh more than 200 pounds. If 40 men are on the team, how many weigh more than 200 pounds? 330 33 165 166 Firstly, before even diving into the math of this equation there are only 40 men on the team, so any answer bigger than 40 is automatically incorrect. That leaves 33... So for the math part you multiply 40 by the decimal of 82.5% (move the decimal two spots to the left) which is .825.... 40 x .825 = 33.

OpenStudy (gracygirl):

Does that make sense?

OpenStudy (symone19):

yes i was multiplying wrong thank you

OpenStudy (gracygirl):

No problem
