I'm pretty sure my answer's right, but I don't understand why none of the answers are "Excellent and poor" because that's clearly the right answer...

But my answer IS the highest difference.

Here are the differences for all of the answers 
A. 1.85
B. 2.15
C. 3.76 or 7.16
D. 3.4

They don't put that choice into the options because it is trivial and you don't have to calculate to get the answer. The goal of the problem is to know how to calculate the difference between the interests. With the non-trivial pairs, you must calculate all of them to find out the answer.
