Okay, so to work this you will simply work the midpoint formula backwards

OpenStudy (wholock):

Okay I'm back sorry, the midpoint formula is(x1 + x2)/2 and (y1 +y2)/2 So you have (5 + x)/2 = -1 and (2 + x)/2 = 0

OpenStudy (wholock):

Multiply both sides by 2 to get 5 + x = 1 Then subtract 5 from both sides. x = ?

OpenStudy (wholock):

For y, multiply both sides by 2 2 + y = 0 Subtract 0 from both sides and y = ?

OpenStudy (wholock):

Excuse me, subtract 2 from both sides
