What is the name of the intersection of planes ABE and BFC? Photo: https://i.gyazo.com/6ff53ab6de3620651ce6f75571ba4068.png
Hint: see attached The plane ABE is shaded in red. The plane BFC is shaded in green. What do these two planes share in common?
I'd say the BF/FB line, or just the point B, but I've tried entering the answers in the practice question's answer box & it just tells me it's false so I'm assuming I'm doing something wrong. I've also tried ABC & EFG, among a bunch of random letter combinations that probably have nothing to do with it, but I can't come up with a right answer. Dx
`I'd say the BF/FB line` yes segment FB which is the same as segment BF
Can you show a screenshot of how you're supposed to type in the answer?
I'm not sure, it just says "Enter your answer in the box." Do I need to put a line above the FB because it's a segment??
if you can, yes you would type in \(\Large \overline{FB}\) or \(\Large \overline{BF}\)
They are segments because there are 2 endpoints
I just tried that as well and it's still telling me something's wrong -- I'm gonna chalk it up to the new calculator/typing system being buggy, if that's the right answer, then. Thank you for your help!
Either there's a glitch or a typo. The only thing you can do is let the teacher know.
