Help?? Medal and fan! A box measures 10 cm x 0.06 m x 500 mm. What is its volume in cubic centimeters? 3 x 10^3 3 x 10^4 3 x 10^2 3 x 10^1

OpenStudy (jfraser):

the volume of a regular box is always the product of the 3 dimensions, \((l) \space x \space (w) \space x \space (h)\), but the UNITS of each measurement are not the same. you have to convert the three measurements into the same unit, and it's asking for cubic centimeters, so you have to convert the mm into cm, and the m into cm, THEN multiply all together
