How did the Federalists secure support for the new constitution? They explained why it was necessary to keep the states subservient to the federal government. They explained how equal voting rights for small states in the Senate would protect them from domination by large states. They explained how multiple factions in a large republic would restrain the federal government from autocratic rule. They explained how the constitution provided checks and balances on the president’s powers. They explained how the creation of a federal judiciary would improve inter- state trade.

I am in between answers right now either C or E since that is the only thing they could use to convince the people to support the new type of Constitution. for E BUT They explained how multiple factions in a large republic would restrain the federal government from autocratic rule. Aside from that, the Federalist agreed to add the Bill of Rights in the Constitution after it was ratified.
