OpenStudy (jayjay2017):

A thermal insulator separates a warm liquid from a cold liquid. Neglecting the effects of the environment, how will the warm liquid and cold liquid change over time?

OpenStudy (osprey):

If it's a good thermal insulator, then apart from getting bored just sitting there, I wouldn't have thought that the liquids would have changed over time. They can't, in terms of temperature, because they're isolated from their surroundings, if I read the question correctly.
