OpenStudy (sophiesky):

Please help me! If f(x)=x/x-3 and g(x)=-2x-1, find (f-g)(x)

OpenStudy (sophiesky):

@jim_thompson5910

OpenStudy (visarika23):

(f-g)(x) is simply f(x)-g(x) So u just subtract them

OpenStudy (sophiesky):

I'm doing corrections on a test, and the correct answer is -2x^2+8x-3/x-3 ....But I'm not sure how they got that...

OpenStudy (sophiesky):

@visarika23

OpenStudy (visarika23):

But according to me the ans should be 2x^2-4x-3/x-3

OpenStudy (sophiesky):

That isn't an answer choice.. :/

OpenStudy (visarika23):

Have u typed the q correctly?

OpenStudy (princeharryyy):

f(x)=x/x-3 and g(x)=-2x-1|dw:1473439983284:dw|
