OpenStudy (juju1420):

Radiocarbon dating using C-14 is important in figuring out the ages of _____.

OpenStudy (blazeryder):

Are there any choices?

OpenStudy (osprey):

Things whose age is similar to the half life of C-14 nuclei. I think that the Turin shroud in Italy was C-14 tested Since that's meant to have covered Christ's body after the crucifixion, and that seems to have happened about 2000 years ago, then from that I'd figure that the half life of C-14 is in the order of thousands of years. So, anything thought to be in that range would be a candidate. I think. http://perendis.webs.com

OpenStudy (kaumudi):

Radioactive carbon is found in dug up fossils. So, that would be my best guess(since there are no options), especially since it is important for us to know the age of fossils.
