So the question has two parts. Authoritarian - avoring or enforcing strict obedience to authority, especially that of the government, at the expense of personal freedom. How would opposition (or let's say, a rebellion) be handled with this kind of decision making? Democracy - overnment by the people; a form of government in which the supreme power is vested in the people and exercised directly by them or by their elected agents under a free electoral system. How would opposition be handled this time?
