OpenStudy (amenah8):

The maximum rate of change of wheat production is 71437 metric tons of wheat per year. If i wanted to find how much wheat would be produced in the 2016/2017 year, how would i do that? DATA: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1NewnsvSjrrxIDingpL-4ASZzqK7SRgex3UtjeFgKc34/edit#gid=946449430

OpenStudy (amenah8):

This would probably have to be an estimation, as we would have to make certain assumptions (such as that the wheat production would be produced at a constant rate of 71437/year)

OpenStudy (fibonaccichick666):

might I ask what level this is for?

OpenStudy (fibonaccichick666):

( there is a more exact answer and a less based on the level for the interpretation of the wanted answer)

OpenStudy (amenah8):

oh sorry this is for calculus (college) homework

OpenStudy (amenah8):

my teacher likes us to estimate, but to try and make it as accurate as possible

OpenStudy (fibonaccichick666):

so way one: input the values into a regression calculator to get the closest match. way two integrate your rate of change so that you get a basic function and figure out the value
