OpenStudy (irishboy123):

to start you off, use the standard shm equation \(x(t) = A \cos (\omega t + \phi) \) \( \dot x(t) = -\omega A \sin (\omega t + \phi)\) \(\ddot x(t) = - \omega^2A \cos (\omega t + \phi)\) \(1 \le \cos (\omega t + \phi) \le 1\), and you know A and \(\ddot x_{max}\), so you can now get \(\omega\) and thus \(T\)

\(\color{red}{-}1 \le \cos (\omega t + \phi) \le 1\)
