Rocky is an "independent" ticket dealer who markets choice tickets for Los Angeles Lakers home games. (California currently has no laws against ticket scalping.) Each graph shows how many tickets will be demanded by buyers at a particular price. For instance, when the Lakers play the Chicago Bulls, the graph shows that at a price of $160, no tickets are demanded. As the price (y-coordinate) gets lower, the number of tickets demanded (x-coordinate) increases.
