When talking about a graph, for simplicity's sake let's say f(x)=x^2, could I describe the end behavior as "f(x) --> ∞ as x --> ± ∞" or do I have to separate the two? Like "f(x) --> ∞ as x --> ∞ and f(x) --> ∞ as x --> -∞"

OpenStudy (bobo-i-bo):

It's fine. It's clear what you want to communicate afterall

OpenStudy (cecil_the_weasel):

thanks :D
