Is there a way other than Ice to calm down muscles. (ik this isn't math) I did 50 reps of 60 lbs. today and my shoulder is killing me. Any ideas????

DOnt place ice on for more then 20 min, and try heat instead.

You can try resting a little bit on it, and move it as much as you can. If you streched, or pulled the muscle, then you want to use it to keep the muscle fibers from getting tangled
